The 2nd Annual Tairawhiti XV's was another great success according to all the teams. Eight teams took part this year in the 15 aside tournament that featured 2 teams from BOP.
Dwayne Russell, tournament director is seen here handing out prizes in the kids sprint event. Also, there was agood sized crowd to see the tournament at Barry Park. It was a perfect venue with a good sole of grass underfoot. The final photo is finalists Te Teko aka Texas up against YMP.
The final was won by OBM, beating Te Teko 12-0 in the final for the second year. The plater winner was Ngatapa 12-5 over YMP and the Bowl was won by HSOB 17-7 against Horouta. The best and fairest team was Waikohu.
If your club is in terested in entering in 2010, please contact Dwayne Russell on 027 231 5023.
