The Poverty Bay Team, under Coach Grainger Heikell will be keen to continue the progress made in 2009 when the team made the Maeds Cup Round and semi-finla for the first time, going down to eventual winners Whanganui. This result followed a streak of winning the Lochore Cup, 3 years in a row in 2006,07,08.
